Keto Diet Woes
You can't turn a corner without hearing the words “Keto Diet” these days. I mean really sometimes it's just annoying. Maybe because it reminds me that I still need to lose weight?
My ego aside, I did try the keto diet and just like it claims I lost 20 pounds in less than 2 weeks! Suffice to say, I was more than satisfied, and pleased with my progress. But then I plateaued and started eating rice again. Yum rice …
Que sera, sera. Whatever will be will be … was my attitude.
So, like everyone else I signed up for all the Instagram encouragement and read all the articles until I stumbled upon this one resource that has really been helping me out.
I still have a long way to go but this is by far the most motivating thing I've done. So, I'm sharing it with you!
I encourage you to take a look even if you're not overweight. I think learning to be disciplined with this kind of diet just increases your overall health and lifestyle habits and that's what WorkFlora is all about. Creating that balance in work and life so that you can not only survive but thrive.

Now on to the keto diet woes …
The one thing I do not like about many of these keto diet Instagram feeds is that they promote eating horrible food! Bacon on top of cheese, wrapped in ham and G-d knows what else! No one in their right mind should think that just stuffing a lot of meat and cheese in your face and some vegetables even though you're losing weight is healthy.
There is a right and wrong way to do keto and if you're eating sticks of butter, you know you should do some soul searching. So, if you're one of those who uses keto as a way to basically become a human dumpster please look at this. Look at it now. Your heart still needs to be healthy.
